Derek Spears is a seasoned Visual Effects Supervisor, earning three Emmys, two HPAs and a VES award for his work on the iconic Game of Thrones series.
His recent credits include Black Adam, Don’t Look Up and Atlas, the latter two of which he also served as on-set supervisor. In his early career, Derek helped establish Cinesite’s 3D department and contributed to the Academy Award®-recognized Cineon compositing system. He is a member of both the Motion Picture and Television Academies, serving as a Governor for the latter.
